平静屋 (Hei · sei · ya)
This Project blends traditional Japanese architectural elements with modern design to create a serene, contemplative space. Drawing from historical techniques such as Shōji sliding doors, Engawa verandas, and a minimalist aesthetic, the design promotes harmony between indoor and outdoor environments. The project emphasizes natural materials like white pine timber and focuses on craftsmanship details, such as Taruki beams and Yonmai-kama-tsugi joints. This modern twist on traditional Japanese architecture celebrates cultural heritage while creating a functional, peaceful dwelling.
